The food here is beyond good. We reserved a dining car toward the back of the restaurant for twenty, four of which were children. However this time I visited there was a large group that got much more attention than my wife and I did. This wedding was beautiful for many reasons but I think the thing that stands out to me the most was how much these two women genuinely love and respect each other. The private room where the ceremony and dinner took place was beautifully decorated and made this small wedding feel intimate and special. The setting is cozy, intimate, and interesting. Like I said they were crowded and lots of folks looked like they were celebrating something.
It was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, explosive flavor and paired with a glass of Syrah. Steak, rack of lamb and prime rib cooked exactly as requested. It was a great way to end our evening. I went to dinner the next 2 nights to Marche and Steelhead. Our family had a wonderful dining experience at the Oregon Electric Station. From the moment we walked in the door service was excellent. Our server was not on his game. Barely a 5 minute wait for our reservation.
From lunch to dinner, dessert or just drinks, a unique experience is waiting for you. She rushed off, cane back about ten minutes later and tossed them on the table. Over the last 100 years the building has been listed on the National Historic Register, and has become a landmark of social significance that has a union of historic value and incredible dining experiences. Did not disappoint this time around.
I ordered a glass of wine, and that ended up being the best part of the meal besides being in the company of my boyfriend. This was a first experience for most of my staff and I know they are now looking forward to being long term customers. Until then: I am going to Marche! I always enjoy dining at the Oregon Electric Station and recommend it to many of my friends. But the best part of the evening was the. Service was mediocre with a server trying to bring our second course before our first course. Pretty sure there was about 8 shelves with a ladder! We made reservations a month ago, via the website which took me to open table.
But the prep said 'this could be dinner', not just the usual bar type appetizers. From steaks and seafood, to sandwiches and classic favorites to some of the most delectable desserts in Eugene. Their menu us ordinary, and their food, while cooked well, is not very inspiring. Highly recommend this place for a great romantic dinner. They were too salty and lacked any other flavor profile. We went to the Oregon Electric Station for New Year's Eve. This historic building has been exquisitely redone and is beautiful in every detail.
Oregon Electric Station additionally serves a variety of vegetables, salads and sides. We will definitely be going back. I primarily photograph newborn, maternity, family, and senior portrait sessions. I would go back and ask for Anne as our server. Unique early 1900's feel and authentic train cars renovated for a nice night out.
